5-CARD DRAW POKER

The most common variant of poker played in most casinos and living-rooms throughout the country.

Each player is dealt five cards, is allowed to bet and play goes around with players calling, raising or folding.

Next, each player is given a chance to exchange as many as 5 cards with the dealer for new ones, to make up a better hand. The betting continues until everyone is either in or out.
The winner of the hand usually takes the pot, or in casinos what is left after the dealer's commission.

Often this is converted into any number of other versions of poker in casinos, to give the dealer more of a role, as shown below.
