CASINO WAR

Possibly the simplest of casino games, in Casino War you just have to beat the dealer in a game of one-card draw, aces high.

The cards
Casino war is played with six decks, ranked as follows:

Lowest                 Highest
2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A

The suit does not matter, and aces will always be high - essentially they are the best card to have.

Playing the game
The participants must first make their bets. You will obviously be attempting to win, and betting on this outcome, but you can also put on a side-bet of a tie, at a payback rate of 10/1 - ties are highly unlikely but can pay highly!

In the event of a tie, the player has two choices: he can either forfeit and lose half the original bet, or go to war.

Going to war
When you 'go to war' with the dealer, you must double your original bet. The dealer will then get rid of three cards before dealing one further card each to you and to himself. The rules are the same as in the initial game, but should you win, you win even money on the raise only, while the original wager pushes. Should you lose, both wagers are lost, and in certain casinos a second tie will earn you a 3:1 win on the second wager.

Tactics
Casino war is, more than anything else, a game of pure chance. There are no ways you can change the outcome tactically, so just play and enjoy!

On the other hand, if the choice to surrender or war comes up, always go to war with the dealer - the house has worse odds to win in that case!
